Southgate Baptist Church exists to bring glory to God. We will do this by encouraging and equipping people to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

Welcome to Southgate Baptist Church's brand new website. We would like to invite you to worship with us if you are in the Moore area. We are located just West of I-35 on 740 S.W. 4th Street, Moore, Oklahoma. We are finished with phase 1 of our building program and are making plans to start phase 2.

News and Announcements

Griefshare
Griefshare started a new series of sessions on March 5.  We will meet each Monday evening at 7:00 PM in the Worship Center.  Anyone is welcome to come to any or all of the group times.  For more information contact Kim Mobly at 793-0106.

AWANA Helpers
The AWANA program has been blessed with great student attendance and we are in need of approximately seven workers to help.  The sessions occur every Wednesday night from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.  If you are interested and feel the Lord's leadership in your heart, please sign up at the Welcome Center or contact Ryan Stamback at 485-2572.

WMA Meeting
All ladies are invited to the WMA Meeting on Monday, March12 at 7:00 PM at Wilma Bunting's home: 247 SE 26.  Church transportation will leave from the church at 6:30 PM.

Fundraiser Luncheon
On March 18 after the morning service.  Proceeds will go to Don Floyd.  Menu: Indian Taco, dessert and drink.  Tickets are on sale at the Welcome Center from Brenda Babbit, or from Edna Minter, Karen Murray, Belvia Moore or Lynn Brackeen for $5.00 each.  Tickets need to be purchased by March 14.

Family Game Night
Come join us for fun, great fellowship and of course FOOD on Friday, March 23 at 6:30 PM in the gameroom.  Bring a snack and your favorite game and come have fun.  NO CHILDCARE WILL BE PROVIDED.

Blood Drive
Mark your calendars now for the blood drive on Sunday, March 25.  Donate blood and you will be in a drawing for a cruise on the Holland America's Amsterdam for a seven night Alaskan cruise.  See Allen DeLisle for details.

Upward Basketball
JOIN THE FUN!  Upward Basketball Shootout!  Stop by our table in the Welcome Center and pick a shooters form.  The shootout will be Saturday, March 31st.  All ages are welcome starting with Pre-K.
